Music

Two weekly lessons and a choir class make music an important part of our curriculum. Rooted in experiential songs and games, children are encouraged to make musical appreciation and participation part of their lives. As they grow, they experience learning instruments (recorder, percussion and ukelele) and reach a deeper level of musical literacy. Principles of the Kodaly method are used throughout. A music concert is held each spring, and the various choirs perform at various times throughout the year.
